Amari’i Kyren Bell, born on May 5, 1994, in Burton upon Trent, England, is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for EFL Championship club Luton Town and the Jamaica national team. Standing at 1.80 meters tall, Bell began his youth career at West Bromwich Albion before moving to Solihull Moors and later joining Birmingham City’s academy in 2011.
Club Career
- Birmingham City (2012–2015): Bell turned professional with Birmingham City in 2012. During his tenure, he made one league appearance and had multiple loan spells to gain first-team experience, including stints at Nuneaton Town, Kidderminster Harriers, Mansfield Town, Swindon Town, and Gillingham.
- Fleetwood Town (2015–2018): After being released by Birmingham, Bell signed with Fleetwood Town, where he made 115 league appearances and scored six goals over two and a half seasons.
- Blackburn Rovers (2018–2021): In January 2018, Bell joined Blackburn Rovers, contributing to their promotion to the Championship in the 2017–18 season. He accumulated 90 league appearances and netted three goals during his stay.
- Luton Town (2021–Present): Bell signed with Luton Town in 2021. He played a pivotal role in the team’s promotion to the Premier League in 2023 and has made over 120 league appearances for the club.
International Career
Eligible to represent Jamaica through his grandparents, Bell received his first call-up to the Jamaica national team in March 2021 and debuted in a friendly against the United States on March 25, 2021.
