It has been a momentous, bittersweet season for Arsenal — and one the club's many Jamaican fans had waited a long time to enjoy.
Mikel Arteta's side were crowned Premier League champions, ending a 22-year wait for the title. They finished on 85 points, seven clear of Manchester City, with captain Martin Ødegaard lifting the trophy. It was a campaign built on a miserly defence and devastating set-pieces, with the Gunners setting a new record for goals scored from corners.
Europe brought heartbreak, though. After a stunning 5-1 aggregate win over Real Madrid, Arsenal reached the Champions League final in Budapest — only to lose to holders Paris Saint-Germain on penalties after a 1-1 draw. League glory at last, but the European dream will have to wait.
