While the world's eyes are on the World Cup, the engine room of Jamaican football keeps turning — and no club embodies its modern era like Cavalier.

Founded back in 1962 as the Duncan Destroyers, Cavalier built their reputation on youth development, amassing more than 40 domestic titles across age groups. That production line came good at senior level in the 2020s: back-to-back Jamaica Premier League titles and, in 2024, the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup — their first international trophy.

It is a model the rest of the league has had to chase, and a pipeline that increasingly feeds the Reggae Boyz. As the local game develops the next generation, Cavalier are showing how it is done.
