The Reggae Boyz' recent squads have shone a light on home-grown talent, with a clutch of Jamaica Premier League (JPL) players earning international minutes.

At the 2026 Unity Cup, the likes of Christopher Ainsworth, Jeovanni Laing, Kyle Ming, Dwight Merrick, Nickyle Ellis and Nickalia Fuller featured alongside overseas-based stars — a reward for form in the domestic league and a sign of the JPL's growing role in the national setup.

It is a pathway worth celebrating: local football feeding the Reggae Boyz, and giving JPL fans players to follow all the way to the international stage.
