It was a season of two halves at Old Trafford — and it ended on a high for the many Jamaicans who follow Manchester United.
Rúben Amorim began the campaign as head coach but was dismissed in January after a difficult run of results. Michael Carrick returned to take interim charge and transformed the season, opening with wins over Manchester City and Arsenal before adding victories against Liverpool, Chelsea and Aston Villa.
The turnaround carried United to a third-place finish in the Premier League and back among the Champions League places — a platform to build on next season.
